Cabin Baggage

Hand Baggage

What is Cabin Baggage?

Cabin baggage allowance is available to passengers as part of flight packages or can be purchased as an additional service, within specific guidelines. This includes one item no more than 55x40x20 cm in size and 8 kg in weight. You can stow your cabin baggage in the overhead compartments inside the aircraft.

What Rules Apply to Cabin Baggage?

Cabin baggage rules and allowances vary across Pegasus' international, Cyprus, and domestic flights. You can find all cabin baggage rules on the relevant rules page.

On domestic flights, you can bring only one piece of cabin baggage no more than 55x40x20 cm in size on board.

On international and Cyprus flights, all passengers are entitled to one item that fits under the seat, which is no more than 40x30x15 cm in size and 3 kg in weight. If you opt for a flight package which includes cabin baggage allowance or purchase cabin baggage allowance separately, you may bring one item no more than 55x40x20 cm in size and 8 kg in weight on board.

For questions regarding baggage rules, please see the relevant section on the additional services purchase page.

When purchasing your ticket and thinking about your cabin baggage allowance, it's important to know what you can bring on board. For information on items prohibited onboard for safety reasons and which might cause issues, please contact customer services.

Restricted and Prohibited Items on Cabin Luggage

The amount of liquids that can be carried in hand luggage is restricted. Too many cosmetic products or liquid food products may not be accepted into the cabin. If you haven’t purchased additional luggage, please pay attention while shopping from Duty-Free shops.

Cosmetic products to be carried on the cabin cannot be more than 100 ml. Essential products such as baby food can be carried in zip bags in cabin baggage.

Sharp or pointed objects, blunt objects, explosives, and flammable substances and all objects that can cause harm are prohibited on the aircraft. Items such as drills, etc. should be delivered to the airline as a checked bag.

Drugs without medical prescription or their package cannot be carried in cabin baggage.

Keeping airline regulations in mind while preparing your baggage can help ensure smooth passage through security checks. To reach your destination on time, you must fully comply with both check-in procedures and cabin baggage rules. In the event of exceeding size limits or bringing additional pieces of baggage, an extra fee will be charged for each during boarding.
