Transportation from Airport to Stockholm
Stockholm is 42 kilometers away from the airport. You can directly reach the city center after a 40-minute drive on the E4 motorway if you prefer driving. For non-residential passengers of Pegasus Airlines, it is recommended to hop on the Airport Express train or take a scheduled bus to Stockholm Central Station. You can go downstairs to Terminals 2 and 4 to catch the Airport Express. The train departs from Arlanda North and Arlanda South Stations and takes 20 minutes to get to the city center. Stockholm C or the Central Station is the final destination in the capital.
As a cheaper option, the Pendeltåg train or J40/SL Länstrafik will connect you to Uppsala and Stockholm C. This option takes 38 minutes to get to the capital, and there is a train every half an hour. If you are looking for a more economical way, Flygbussarna will take you to Cityterminalen from Arlanda via a bus trip.
