*Visa-free transit regime for at least 24 hours across all international airports, up to 72 hours through certain airports.

Citizens of the European Union and Schengen area states can enter, stay, and transit in North Macedonia with their valid national identity cards even if they do not possess a passport.

Temporary or permanent residence holders in a Schengen state and multiple entry Schengen visa holders can stay in North Macedonia for up to 15 days as long as the total duration of their stay does not exceed 90 days in any 180 days period.

In addition to listed countries, holders of valid visas issued by the United Kingdom, Canada, or the United States of America are allowed to stay in North Macedonia for up to 15 days that is limited to 90 days in any 180 days period.
